Soma, Forever 21 and Victoria's Secrets Experiences

I finally wrote up my blog post about my experiences at Soma, Forever 21 and VS. I had the best time at Soma. Everyone was really pleasant and the shop was well stocked and taken care of. If you're in their size/price/shape range, I'd say give them a shot! Their sizing is a little weird but their bras are comfy.

  • Thanks for sharing your adventure :-) :-) My sister loves to wear Soma bra while playing golf. She says they provide the most secure fit. Otherwise, she wears Comexim and Ewa Michalak.

  • I'm glad you had a good experience at Soma. They are affiliated with Chico's. I've had great customer service at every Chico's I've visited, but my experience at Soma was less than stellar. My salesperson got a blank look when I told her I was wearing a 34FF in UK sizing. She measured me with my clothes on and told me I was a 38DD. To humor her I agreed to start with that size. Then she immediately went for the padded moulded cup bras. I told her I was interested in their unpadded bras only which I guess she thought was strange but after some searching she finally brought me a 38DD in the moulded lace style like you tried. Naturally the band was too loose and the cups way too small. I wanted to show her but she wouldn't come to the dressing room to look. I asked to try a 36G (equivalent to 36F UK size) and she brought me a 38G. She seemed to be really invested in me being a 38DD like she measured. For some odd reason I persisted and got to try what I wanted. The first sales lady disappeared and a different person waited on me. The second person was better and at least brought me the sizes I asked for. In the end the only bra I was remotely satisfied with was their one and only cut-and-sew style. It cost about $60 and I had a similar reaction to yours. I liked it, but not $60 worth, so after all that I left empty-handed.
