Paypal Shipping refunds 2

Am I the only person that has issues with the refunds?
I did what I was supposed to do to get the refund, but then a few days later I get an email saying they're having ongoing technical difficulties, so I need to go through paypal intead of this company. They tell me to go to the original transaction and click on "Request Return Shipping Refund". But on my phone there is no such button in my paypal account. On my laptop there is no option either (this "user friendly" interface is so annoying, they need to go back to the old paypal). After doing a google search I found a way to get to the old user interface, and there still is no "Request Return Shipping Refund" button. WTF
Does anyone have this button on their paypal?

  • I see it says "partially refunded"--isn't that why you are not getting an option for a return? You can't usually do two separate return/refund operations on the same transaction. I would phone PayPal and tell them the problem and ask them to fix it. Worst case scenario they will probably authorize you to ship back independently using the paypal/shipnow independent label generation feature and then call them so they can input the tracking.

  • wendybien I don't know if that's why I'm not getting the refund. I was partally refunded because they overcharged me.
    I can't ship it back using their label, because the item was already shipped back to Ewa. When I printed the shipping label I went through paypal.

    ETA: when I look at other transactions I still don't see the shipping refund button.
