Not sure if this is the right place to share this, But, HELP! After finding this site I measured everything asked. The bra size recommendations this site gave me were seriously off. I decided to redo all the measurements, taking the time to read all the directions and make sure I was doing the measurements correctly. My second set of measurements were the same as my first. So my question...why in the world am I being told I wear a E and F cup bra? I've never worn anything larger than a D, I'm really confused. Can anyone help?

  • Hello! You'd be surprised how off our bra measurements can be versus what we think we wear! Take a look at the recommended size in the search bar up top and see how those breasts look in the various bras on the website; an E/F cup isn't necessarily massive :) For example, I'm a 28H (US) or 28FF (UK) and unless someone is big in the bra fitting community, I don't think anyone would have a clue looking at me.

Don't forget that when you do try a recommended size to lean over, scoop all your breast tissue into the cup, and adjust the wires to be directly below your breasts. This can make your cup size go up! Until very recently, I had breast tissue pushed under my armpits that wasn't going into my cups and was fitting into a smaller cup.

I'm sure other more experienced users will also chime in, but this is the gist of what I'm getting from just recently finding my perfect fit. I hope this helps!

  • For me, this site has never given any useful recommendations. OTOH, if you have been buying bras in stores, there is a very good chance you could find a better fit. are your bands really tight, even if you put the bra on backwards and upside down (so the cups are hanging down towards your behind)? If your bands are not tight enough so that they can barely move, you probably have sized up in band and down in cup. For example, a 34C has the same size cup as a 32D or a 30E.
