Cage bras? Strappy bras?? Stringy bras???

I am LOVING this style that is just popping up (or that I'm just noticing) with the straps over the boob. Does anyone know if there's a unifying technical term for these things? And does anyone have advice on where to find them (particularly in 30-32G)?
I've found a whole bunch on ASOS but I've never purchased from them before.

(I'm also trying to find some... more conservative styles, if that even exists, because I am single as heck and I just want to make my boobs pretty for myself)

  • I don't know about names, but here is one of my favourites reviewed by one of my favourite bloggers. EM has a strappy BM as well. These are pretty full coverage and come in your size range. Look up other S and BM models here for sizing and fit advice and go for it!

  • Yes I think strappy / cage are good search words! Also 'harness' is being used quite a bit to describe the style.

PourMoi has some affordable options as well. Bluebella is another brand that joined the strappy bra trend.

As for fit, both PourMoi and Asos' house brand bras tend to run wide and shallow. This gives many people some degree of east-west effect. Bluebella (being a young brand) tends to be a bit hit-or-miss as far as I've read reviews. For me 32G - Bluebella ยป Asteria (34439) (extremely strappy! ๐Ÿ˜‰) did turn out pretty well.

Perhaps for a start, you'd like to try a separate harness, cheaply available on eBay etc. and you can choose to wear it over a bra but still removable.

Hope this helps, enjoy your shopping!
