Scored lots of tagless bras on eBay!

The title of my adventure may have you thinking I'm quite the fool. But it's an adventure, really! I have not had luck with any of my Amazon buys yet (this will be a long haul), but now that I've had a taste of the potential I cannot DEAL with my lousy old 34Ds. I'm so fed up with the ugly plunge spillage and total lack of support, I just can't do it anymore. The first six bras I've tried in 3 piece construction and with proper sizing were a thousand times better, even though none was a perfect fit. I returned them because they would have been expensive to keep, especially since the sizing wasn't 100%. I mean some of these good bras are upwards of $60, ouch!! I have to have a perfect fit to justify that amount of money. Having returned these bras, and having to wear one of my old crappy bras left me sad. Just as I was about to go buy another bunch of new stuff from Amazon to try, I had a sudden pang of sticker shock and backed out. I had loaded my cart with 8 recommendations - much too much at once! I decided, why not get a few affordable BETTER used bras until I find the PERFECT fitting bra? Good thinking, I though to myself. I looked through the listings here, didn't find anything of particular interest in my size, so I popped over to eBay. There I stumbled across someone selling lots of 32F's (my new/real size) who had cut the tags out and could only remember the brand names (Prima Donna, Fantasie, Chantelle, Freya) but not which brand corresponded to which bra. The fun is that I've already identified two of the bras from the resources here on Bratabase using only the listing pictures - I'm looking forward to a Chantelle Africa Mesh #3691 in Copper, and a Fantasie Kara Underwire Balcony in a blue colorway. :) I have not tried these styles yet and I'm so excited to see what else I can learn about my personal fit. Best of all, these were only $10 a piece and appear in good pre-owned condition. My plan is to use the best fitting of these secondhand garments until I really figure out what works best for my body. I also ordered one Curvy Kate Dreamcatcher from eBay because I'm determined to keep trying bras until I find something I love so much I never want to take it off.

Who knew bras could be so much fun!

  • Yay! You never know what you can find with eBay. Hope one of those work for you - and if not sometimes selling here works too :)

One of my favorite things to do is search '30E bras' and sort by low price. Lots of junk comes up, but sometimes you will find something cool. I do this periodically and usually find some cool brands that I would forget to search otherwise, or listings like yours where the seller doesn't know the style or brand. Results in many impulse purchases.

  • Hope this is a ton of fun for you :-) :-)
