Finally found a bra that fits!!

Was going to wait until tomorrow to post this but I just couldn't wait!

Up until now, my best fit has been a 32G Cleo Marcie that I purchased two months ago which was 99% there, just needed a smidge more immediate projection to get rid of the wrinkles near the bottom wire, but I could live with that since you couldn't tell over clothes and it didn't bother me throughout the day. Everything else I've tried has either been too wide (Panache Jasmine and Envy), too closed on top (Bravissimo balconettes), too shallow (Bravissimo Satine, Freya Deco and Cleo Lexi) or a combination of all three!

However, recently the Marcie has been getting on my nerves. It looks and fits fine after putting it on in the morning, but an hour later and the cups have decided to sit on my breasts instead of around them, and the top lace section gapes massively. I knew I needed help on this so I popped into Bravissimo hoping to pick up a Cleo Hettie after lusting after it for months! The staff were lovely and knowledgeable, as always :) My fitter took one look at Marcie's state, brought me a new one in the same size to check, and suggested I try a 30GG instead as the band had a lot of give in it which she thought could be the reason for the cups moving around, so she brought a 30GG in the Hettie and...

It fit perfectly!! There was no gaping, no wrinkling, no digging in, the wires sat perfectly around my roots and I was so happy I almost burst out crying in the changing room. She asked if there was anything else I'd like to try and I requested the Panache Floris and Thea, two other bras on my must-try list, but they were sold out of both so she brought the Cleo Kayla instead and I instantly fell in love. I was ecstatic when I tried it on and it fit just like the Hettie, I knew both of them would end up coming home with me!

So a huge thank you to everyone on here for helping me figure out my shape and why certain bras weren't working for me, I hope I can do the same for someone one day!

P.s. Bravissimo in Liverpool now do student discount! Not sure about other branches because I've only been to the Liverpool one but they do 10% off for students :)

  • Delightful!!!

  • I am definitely going to try one of those bras! They sound perfect for me!

Of the two, which has softer fabric? Cleo fabric is often really scratchy to me.
