I’ve read that the average woman owns only two (2) bras. I on the other hand, have dozens to choose from. I am so fond of my entire lingerie collection and own many beautiful bras. Some are old and worn; bras that show signs of discoloration (particularly my white bras), Which I save those for those few days a month that I feel like a bloated cow, rather than a darling temptress. Of course I am fondest of my sexier fancy bras that I wear when I want to feel sensual. Some beautiful bras I hardly ever wear as they are padded and are visible under tops as I am extremely self conscious of making my girls appear any bigger than they already are. Unlike some of my peers, I do not wish to draw attention to my boobies.
When shopping, Its totally awesome to decide on a particular bra, especially when matching to an outfit. I only have two (2) strapless bras, and have a number of convertibles which will allow me to go strapless, criss cross, one shoulder, or halter top. It surprises me n a way that having the right sexy bra also makes me more confident. Once in a blue moon I will show a hint of strap under a sleeveless blouse, and I’ll never wear a black bra with a white blouse when I’m going out. Criss cross and halter bras are great for me in the summer, and work well as I don’t wish to reveal bra strap lines across my back. Which show when I wear the occasional tight knits and sweaters.
My all time favorite bra is the Vaserette Frankly Feminine. I’ve owned one for about 30 years, and when I was younger it was the single most sexiest item in my collection. It fit well was pretty simple and looks great on or off, even lying n the bedroom floor. Unfortunately, they have been out of production for a long time, and I wish I owned more in both white, black, and nude. Bummers that its pretty worn out and I don’t really wear it anymore. I live in the back of my bra drawer now.
The Vanity Fair Natural Feeling underwire is a perfect everyday bra. I find it one of the most comfortable bras I have owned and I don’t even know its on when wearing it.

2? where oh, where did you read that? when I was living off a laundromat, I had 25-30 in order to wash them in my mom's machine every 2-3 months!
I only have two that I wear regularly, plus one strapless/convertible. I actually own a lot of bras, but it's because of pregnancy and nursing, so I have nursing and regular bread in like 5 different sizes. But only about two that work during any giving stage of that. Now that I'm not having another baby in the near future, I'm starting to hunt for properly fitting bras so I can have more.
