When boobs settle, so what to do about sizing?

I have pretty compressible soft breast tissue, and I have that new Comexim Gemma in the 3HC cut in 65HH (sorry I don't know how to hyperlink). I do get quite a bit of quadding when I put it on and I do feel a bit compressed, but then later in the day after wearing, things settle and there's barely any quadding. Does that mean it "fits okay" and I shouldn't mess with changes to sizes? I'm wondering what would happen in a larger size? Would I gape? Anyone have any experience with this kind of thing? I did get some alterations too, so I have considered reordering this same bra in one size larger with the same alterations, or just the same size with fewer or no alterations, but I don't know if it's worth it. Thanks for any insight!

  • hyperlink by typing "@" immediately before "comexim" and then scroll to the bottom of the comment box and select the correct item. it usually lists your own bras as well as its guess for brand etc.

As to compression- that is the problem with padded bras. you can get away with it in padded bras and not in unpadded. I'd definitely recommend sizing up or eliminating alterations. If you get gaping in the larger size it will probably be a shape issue rather than a size issue. If you scoop and swoop and get more than slight quadding - it doesnt fit!

  • maddy2596 thanks for the info about hyperlinking! Okay, I'll have to consider if I buy the same bra again, lol! Seems like such a shame to have to wait all over again after waiting so long for it! I do have a couple EM bras on the way too, so maybe I'll just wait to see how those fit. It's definitely is SO much easier finding unpadded bras... I'm having so much difficulty finding a padded bra that fits me.
