The cup width measurement needs to be from underwire tip to tip
It's been brought up to me by a few people that they have been receiving bras where people have clearly measured across the cup and not from underwire tip to tip as shown below:

Please keep adding measurements but make sure you're doing it the same way as everyone else

Hear hear. I have narrow roots and I bought a wide shallow bra from the listings here because the seller measured the bra accross the cup, 0.6" narrower than it actually is. I lost a good amount of money on shipping and had to resell the bra because it was a complete shape mismatch. It's more than annoying, and the seller was just like "whoops lol".
And to add insult to injury, Bratabase considers her measurement correct and disregards mine.
blubblub that's not good. Hmm. Jj I have 2 ideas:
1. Perhaps users could send proof pics of their measurements (like, lay a tape measure across the cup to show what it measures as)
2. Perhaps listings could have a "used measurement" also. Like maybe the cup/bra started off with certain measurements, but maybe the cup and/or band got stretched bigger by the time the user sold it. The used measurements are helpful for the buyer of the listing, but not for people buying new bras from elsewhere, and the new measurements are useful for people buying elsewhere but not for the bratabase listings.
What do you think? Would it be possible?
