Bra/life frustrations
Today I'm feeling frustrated by life, and on this particular day, that frustration is aimed at bras.
I saw a comment on a Facebook post mentioning that she doesn't tend to run because it hurts her boobs, and someone chimed in that, well gosh, just get a good sports bra, they have them in literally every size! And I found that so irritating, because, no they don't? And even if they have them in your "size," that doesn't mean they'll fit. I've been struggling with finding a sports bra because I'd have to spend $65+ to get one in my size, which will probably only kind of fit because they're all so wide they cut into my armpits/arms, which is the last thing I want in a sports bra. I've been stalking the various bra websites for weeks hoping the one I have my eye on to try next will go on any sort of sale, but no luck yet. And I know I'm still luckier than some because some people wouldn't even be able to find one in their size.
And then that reminds me of my strapless bra woes. I've been wanting a strapless bra for years and years, to no avail. And you hear people all the time, "oh, well just get one!" or "make sure to bring a strapless bra to your dress fitting!" or whatever, as if it's that easy. And, well, why isn't it that easy?! Why don't I get to have a strapless bra and wear the cute clothes with no or narrow straps? Why don't other people like me get to?
I guess I just had to get that off my chest to some people who might understand.

I completely.understand. I can wear my current sports bras for 30 minutes without pain. And, that wearing period excludes exercise. Ugh.
OMG yes! lol
Now, I'm totally non-athletic, so the sports bra posts dont bother me nearly as much. But the strapless, ugg. Its gotten to the point where I refuse to read any posts anywhere about strapless bras. No, they really dont exist in my size and maybe you should have thought of that before buying a strapless dress.
But what I almost bitched about yesterday, but refrained but . . . is people who complain about how hard it is to be 'full busted' . .and they wear an E or an F. Yeah, i'm sure your life is so much harder than it is when you area JJ!
Ok, to be fair, when I was young, I was mortified by my boobs. They grew a cup size or so every year for a few years. I was probably a 30G by the end of high school, wearing a 34DD. I had to buy a prom dress several sizes too big (like, I was wearing 6s and 8s, the dress was a 14) and have a friend take it in because nothing else would fit the boobs.
But still . . . F? Is that so far off from 'normal'?
