Need whites or beiges

I usually find that balcony and demis fit best and realy struggle with anything padded or molded. Cleos (Lucy, Kali) appear to fit and feel the best, indicating that I am FOB for the most part. Despite my age (55), I am still pretty "perky," meaning I need a deep cup with projection. Wire width is pretty average. So, help, I need white and beige bras. I have purchased Lucy in white and Marcie in beige, but does anyone know of other bras that may fit my (UK 36G) girls?

My experience is that full coverage bras gap at the top of the cup unless they are stretch lace, which I love, but even that gaps--even when I size down a cup or two in size.

  • btw, perky and deep projection are not particularly related. I"m very NOT perky and need deep projection.

I'm FOT tho, so I'm not very familiar w FOB styles.

  • You could try Polish. I'd strongly recommend the Ewa Michalak BM (stretch lace). I have some unpadded Comexims, but they really don't do many unpadded styles and even fewer with stretch lace. The sizing is a bit different. You may need to band and or cup up - but look at the measurements here in your size to get a better idea. I wear one cup up with Ewa Michalak and Comexim for sure as they increment cups in 2 cms not 1 inch (ie GG - index ten is 20 cms bigger than A, not 25 cms with UK inches). I also band up in Comexim and some people do with EM too as they size in 5 cm units with an invisible +10 (a 32 equivalent is a 70, which stretches to fit an average of 80 cm underbust which is 31.5 inches). I think you might really like the Ewa Michalak BM.

Gaia (my favourite) also makes some stretch lace balconettes - but they are all black. And Ava might make some stretch lace tops, but I have only ever tried the Charente, which is blue. Both Gaia and Ava size in cm, but I usually wear the same index size in both, sometimes needing an extender, and occaisionally needing a cup up. Also, note, they are a smaller company and relatively "unknown" in North America and can often be a little inconsistent in size and model. Gorsenia is more consistent and known, but they do not make stretch tops, to my knowledge - except in semi-padded styles.

Otherwise, have you tried Lepel Rita Balconette Bra (148701) ? I found it very much like Lucy. Also, Wiesmann (another Polish brand - a little more upmarket, but also a little more consistent) has a whole bunch of B-224 styles which reminded me very much of Lucy too. I found sizing to be equivalent.

Have you tried the Curvy Kate Ellace Balcony Bra (CK4401) ? I need a cup size up in all the new CK unlined models as I find they "upside down seven" in my normal size. It is a bit different from the Lucy, but might work for you - plus stretch lace!
