Are your boobs projected, tall or wide?
1.Take a yardstick or a calliper.
2. Lift boobs up without manipulation.
3. Measure how far they go out from your body where they project the most. Straight out in the direction they want to go.
4. Do the latter measurements in the most convenient position for you.
5. Measure the root vertically.
6. Measure the root horizontally
7. Compare

My projection cannot ever be bigger than 10-11 cm. And since my chest is very tall they are 23-25cm tall.
Callipers for my root width is too expensive above 20 cm so I haven't got one and I'm therefore not completely sure about the root width yet because I curve so much in my root it's almost impossible to measure.
Now: This doesn't say anything about bra fit really. Because the fullness of our roots can be very unequally distributed inside our roots.
For example: the full part of my boobs projects 10-11cm (max 7 cm in a bra) They are tops the same in tallness on the sides, but they are 17cm wide. And measuring my bra size comes out completely wrong, because it's not that I could just fit the little part of my boobs that is full. That leaves me with wires on my breasts and quadboob/boobs spilling above the cups when leaning over. Not fun!
This plus my being naturally east and west must finally have managed to cover my fit issues because traditional bra fitting is on my boobs completely without sense.

Might not be accurate because I don't have access to a yardstick, but I'm doing the best I can with a soft tape measure.
Projection: 9.5 cm from where my ribcage begins to curve around to the front.
Root horizontal: 22 cm
Now my root goes at a diagonal so I used the pythagorean theorem to get my height at the highest point of my room compared to the lowest part of my root on my sides and I got it at about 8.3 cm. My boobs themselves (if that's what you were actually wondering) are 20 cm tall.
I even drew a paint picture just because I think it's helpful. I always feel like I have a tall root even though it's not in reality that tall, but for some reason, the underwires never reach up high enough to actually get all my breast tissue.

I'm afraid I don't have the equipment to do this measurement - I don't have a yardstick or callipers.
My height is probably about 18 cm, based on the measurement I did a couple of days ago where I measured with a soft tape from my collarbone to the bottom of my breasts going through the gore. If I take the wire width of a bra which rests just against the root, I've got around 14 for the width. Projection should be 13 or less based on my bra size.
If you were to ask me to guess, I'd say that height is greatest, and that I have a fair amount of projection and kind of an average width. Width would still be greater than projection, though.
