Padded, or not padded, that is the question.
I don't like to wear nonpadded bras because of the nipple-showthrough but I don't like how sweaty you get while wearing a lined bra in the summer either. It's been like 26 degrees Celsius (about 79 degrees Fahrenheit) today here in southern Sweden and the heat hit us with a shock. Sure, it's been hot for a few days now, but less than a week ago you had to wear a jacket to school to not be cold. I'm wondering... Do you have any tips to be completely nipple-showthrough-free without using any padding/lining? I've thought about using a very, very thin scarf but I can't decide if that's really "me", you know? I'm not sure if a scarf would compliment a petite body like mine either. I guess I could just pop by a store and check though... I wore a lined bra today and let me tell you, it was ickyI would loooove a nonpadded bra that didn't show your nipples but I guess I'm asking for a skyfall of rain in the desert... Anyone got some tips on how to be able to wear a nonpadded bra in hot weather without nipple-showthrough? Let me add... I don't like clingy clothes, they can be fitted but I HATE clingy clothes. It's almost as if I get claustrophobic wearing really tight clothes

I just don't worry about my nipples showing. Everybody has nipples, so I don't think it's a big deal. The seams of most unpadded bras are designed to hit you at the nipples and break up the pattern a bit so they can't be seen unless you're cold (usually not a problem when it is hot out!).
However, if I am at some work function and I'm dressed up, I'll use reusable silicon nipple covers. I hate them, though, because my nipples get so sweaty in them.
Well, I usually spend a month in the worse heat of the summer in Spain so I know the problems. I usually wear sheer mesh bra then, and I tend to not have any problems with nipple show through. If you are worried, wear something with a ribbed fabric and/or a print rather than smooth solid fabric.
As for padded bras, which padded bras have you tried? I usually try to get something with as much cotton as possible, as it makes me less sweaty to start with. If it's so hot you can't avoid sweating something that dries quicker is usually better...
