Weight gain/loss

So I measured myself last month using the ABTF new calculator and came up with the size I'm currently wearing (40JJ/38K). I also used the EM calculator and got 95M or something similar. I got a new bra in early June that really fits well in 40JJ but the band runs loose so I've got it on the tightest hooks. Anyway.

Since then I've had pneumonia, had to move due to house issues, went to the ER for back spasms, had little money for extra food due to the move, and thus have not been doing my usual excercise (swimming, walking). But have been running around, cleaning, etc. so more active in general. Interspersed with just laying there moaning. When I went to the Dr. in June for pneumonia I was at my highest weight ever (290 lbs).

Yesterday I weighed in at 275. My new 40JJ fits the same. But I decided I would take my measurements again for the hell of it.

The ABTF calculator now gives me 40HH as my size and EM says I should wear 100HH. So the size I was a year ago before I dropped a band size and gained a cup size.

My old 40HH bras are in a box in the garage somewhere (who knows where though) so I can't check them to see if they now fit again. How is it possible to change shape so much in so little time with such a small weight loss (for my weight)? What is going on? And there are a few bras on sale I want in 38K but should I get them if I'm losing weight (after going to a nutritionist for a year and just continuing to gain)?!?! I'm also in the week before my period so my boobs should be full right now right?

  • Oh dear!!!! How are you feeling now? Those deep, rib-breaking coughs can linger. Hoping you are 100℅ well soon! I can't imagine moving while sick with pneumonia. You are Superwoman!!

  • The coughs are what gave me spasms! In the muscles around my right lung so I couldn't breathe. The night after moving I had to go to the ER because I felt so faint/exhausted/in terrible pain from not being able to lay down or breathe without spasming! Thankfully I've pretty much completely recovered from the muscle pain and pneumonia/cough. And the prednisone they put me on makes me super energetic, lol! It was the mold in the old house that caused respiratory distress for my whole family. What a month I've had!
