Finding a bra for mom?

So my mother shares many of my shape characteristics (high set, short roots, full center, touching roots, projected, round firm tissue) but is a totally different size: 34D. She has been wearing ill fitting 36/38 B/Cs her whole life and finds firm bands painful because they squeeze her. I think this is actually because they ride up onto her tissue. I'd like to get her into a really comfortable padded bra (she won't do unlined) with minimal lace or painful bits and lots of bottom projection so it doesn't ride into her ribs.

What would be a good starter bra, with a softer band and lots of room at the wire? I was thinking a Comexim or Natori Glamour? Maybe Wacoal? It's hard to choose with so many options in this size.

  • Comexim in HC would be good choice :) not sure whether 2 or 3HC would be better

  • Natori Hidden Glamour is not very projected and doesn't accommodate center fullness. Wacoal LaFemme Contour might work for her. Try 36C.
