Exercising and breast size?

I am curious what other people experience in relation to change in breast size with regular exercise. A couple of months ago I did a "boot camp". I did a high intensity work out 5 days a week. My breast size decreased by approximately 1 cup. I really wish I had done a measurement then, that would have been interesting data! Anyhow, over the course of my children's summer break I have not been exercising, just chasing after them. I weigh the same as before I exercised and while I was doing the boot came, but I feel a bit fluffier than I did at the beginning of the summer, so I would say I was more toned then. To put this in perspective, I am in the healthy weight range according to my BMI. I'm planning to go back to the gym after my littlest one goes back to school, so we shall see what happens, especially with prolonged exercise. Before children I exercised 4-5 days a week, and my breasts were smaller than they are now, but still bigger than everyone else's haha! So although I realize that there is a lot of fat in breasts, I also know we can only affect them to a certain degree with diet and exercise, because mine are always going to be larger than average. Anyhow, I am curious what other people have experienced

  • I've been a regular exerciser for the past 13 years. It never caused any changes in my chest size but I'm not prone to weight gain/loss in that area. However, with the changes of hormones in my 40's I noticed that pushups tend to stimulate and cause breast tingling and then I'd notice growth happening in the next few weeks. I seriously doubt it was the pushups doing it (as they never had before), but definitely the hormones. I do know that exercise always affected my mom's size because she tends to gain weight in that area, then lose it quickly when she hits the gym.

  • The only time I went down in cup size was after my second baby when I lost a good 20-30 lbs. Took me 6 months after being cleared to exercise, but I did it. I went from a 30JJ to a 30GG. Unfortunately, if I'm not losing weight pretty quickly, my cup size just steadily increases. I'm still about the same weight 2 years later, and working on losing more, but I'm back up to 30HH again. I am pretty active, but rarely ever see a stall in the growth.
