Nursing bra recommendations needed.

Hello lovelies. I'm due to have my baby October 4th. I'll be attempting to breastfeed and would love some recommendations for a good supportive nursing bra. My older child is 13, so needles to say I have no idea what is out there these days. Pre pregnancy I was wearing around a 30G/65G in Ewa Michalak. Currently I have no idea what size I am because honestly I've been wearing non sized softcup bras from target for comfort. I'm open to underwire, padded or unpaded as well as non wired for sleep. All recommendations would be much appreciated.

  • Although it's a myth that wires per se cause blocked milk ducts, the endless volume fluctuations during the first 6mo of breastfeeding mean that it's pretty tough to find a wired bra that is the right volume for your breast all day long. So many people just don't do wires for the first few months. However, lots of brands do use softer wires in nursing bras, e.g. Anita. Personally I liked the Anita smooth and jacquard microfiber nursing bras, but they may prove too big in the band for you if you don't gain a lot of weight. They also run smallish in the cup.

  • wendybien Thank you so much for the info! I'll check out the Anita you mentioned. It's a new chapter in bra size adventure lol.
