A warning from the future
So, ladies, I'm one of the older members of this site. I'm 52 and a half - my half-birthday is in 13 days lol. And I FINALLY seem to be starting in to menopause - I've missed my first period and I couldnt be happier. My periods have been super rough for the last few years.
BUT - my nipples started hurting a few days ago. At first I thought it was just pms for a late period or ovulation for an upcoming one - but then I did a little research. Guess what - sore nipples can be a symptom of menopause. Isnt that weird? Everyone talks about the hot flashes and the dryness, but . . . nipples. Who would've thunk it?

Seriously though, I would have never guessed your age-totally thought you were my age by your photo (I'm 44). So dang girl...errrr...woman, you look great for 52 1/2!
There is a whole slew of yuck symptoms with peri menopause. Menopause is after we have missed a period for a full 12 months. Insomnia, irregular periods, bloating, breast tenderness, phantom cramps, joint aches, acid reflux, headaches, anxiety... to name just a few...all related to hormones going wonky. It’s a fun ride! I’m in the same phase but my cycle has decided to shorten not miss. Did I mention our symptoms can all be unique too? It’s a roller coaster. Puberty was easier 😳
