Hi, I am a part time cross-dresser, but, the reason I am writing is that I actually do have breasts as a result of meds and gynecomastia. In the past 6 months, they have become larger, and my doctor said it is a side effect of the medicine.
I used to very occasionally wear a bra because I liked to, but, now, they actually are sore when I am doing any activities, and I am not wearing one. My wife said I should get a proper fitting, and it may be better to see if there is any minimizer bras so I would not be as noticeable when in male mode.
I called a local lingerie store, and they had no problem when I explained the situation. The owner said to come in, but, make sure I am wearing a bra so she can see the fit. When she started to take my fittings, she smiled, and said you really do need a bra. That did make me blush a bit.
Well, my lesson really started as she began to tell me how Bras come in hundreds of different sizes and styles for a reason. Everyone has a different body and a different idea of how they want to look and feel. You can spend hours of your time and much of your money finding out which is the right bra for you; or you can get a proper fitting.
She sized me at a 42 b/c, and after trying on more than 20 different types of bras, I was exhausted. I ended up with purchasing not only 6 bras, but, matching panties as well along with some hosiery. When I got home and showed my wife, she smiled, and said, it's not cheap being a girl.
It has been about 3 months now, and other than sleeping, I wear a bra daily. I do hope I am welcome here.
Sincerely,
Bobbie
