Is there a way to filter out bra suggestions on this site? I've never found a plunge style that works because the wires poke in to my sternum. I have a very very slight concave chest. Better yet, is there a secret way to make the wires not poke into my sternum? It only happens with very low gore plunge styles.

  • Apologies in advance as this is probably a dumb question, but if as you say the problem "only happens with very low gore plunge styles" is there no way to get by with plunges that are more moderate in gore height? Like if it happens with gores 1.3" and less, then you could search on Bratabase by measurements, and search for bras with gores that are 1.5" and above? I understand sometimes you need something low enough for that SUPER low cut top and in that case you could bend the wires outward on one of the bothersome ultra-low plunges, but for any other outfit you could then wear bras with a taller gore, right, including more moderate plunges?

  • After reading your post here and what @wendybien asked I decided to check out your posted bras/pictures to see if I could get a better idea of what your issue is. You only have one bra posted, but it is no where near a super plunge style bra but your fit comment said it digs in because it is to low. I'm not sure why fantastie labeled that bra a plunge at all. It's more like an average t-shirt bra. The Gore is definitely not low on that bra, it looks as if it is about mid-breast height. It also looks like the Gore is digging into your breast tissue because the Gore is too wide. Do you have pictures of other bras you could post? This is a super low plunge: http://bra.pe/XYBO/ . Are you 110% sure it's because the Gore is too low instead if too high or too wide?
