I have gained a substantial amount of weight over the last year or two. I have a lot of feelings about that, but my feeling today is an overwhelming sense that damn it! I deserve clothes that fit me!

I hope to lose some weight. I hope that my old 30DDD bras will someday fit again. But right now, I need to accept that
1. I have only one bra that is even close to the right size (it's this one: 32DDD - B.tempt'd By Wacoal ยป B.flirtatious Contour Bra (953230 ))
2. The cups bulge on that bra, so I may still need to size up
3. I've been wearing this bra so much that there is a hole in the lace and the left underwire is threatening to poke through, so
4. I need a new bra. Or several! Preferably, several!

In the next few days, I have a lot of bra-related things I'd like to do. I need to track down a cloth measuring tape and get new measurements. I need to start researching brands and the way they fit my body the way it is now. I need to update my list of bras I own, which is over a year old and no longer accurate. And! I need to check out some listings, so I can get on my way to owning some bras that I love.

Wish me luck!

  • Good luck! And I'm sure you'll find all sorts of amazing bras for your new size!
I certainly know what your going through there was a point in my life where I went from about 85 lbs to about 140 lbs (in about 2/3 months!) and have since struggled to stay at 110/115 lbs.
I hope the new learning curve for you goes quickly and you can stabilize yourself into only happiness!

  • You sound very motivated! I think new, well-fitting bras make every situation brighter, haha! Wishing you awesome success!
