Any tips for getting gores to tack with close-set breasts?
No matter what I try. No matter what brand/style I wear. I CANNOT get a gore to tack.
Currently wearing a Comexim Annika in 85M, which looks a full cup size TOO BIG because the center gore is 2 full inches or more from my sternum. When I push it in with my hand, the cups fit perfect. I tried taking in the center gore so the wires overlap... no help. So I tried bending the wires in... and it seems to have possibly even made it a bit worse. ??? What else can I try?

My breasts are suuuuuuuuper close set too, no distance between them. The only way for a gore to tack is if it's low AND narrow enough. You already know how to narrow the gore, but finding a bra with a low enough gore is also important. I'm in a smaller size (UK 28F) and by experimenting with a lot of bras I found that the maximum gore height has to be max 2 inches for it to tack. I'm in a totally different size range so not sure if it works for you, but good luck!

I'm not sure a lower gore would work because my breasts are so soft and squishy... they might just pour out the center if it was too low. LOL This bra is a plunge, so I'm not sure how much lower I can find in a stock bra...
I know Comexim offers customizations like that. Maybe I'll see what they can do for me.
