One of the hooks on my Freya 36GG - Freya » Deco Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) has twisted out of shape, so I can only do it up with one now.. this happens a lot with my Freya bras if I tighten the shoulder straps the back can't take it... I've only tightened it halfway.. do I just need a bigger cup or is something else wrong?

Sounds like freya is just sort of wimpy ? I havent tried freya, but after being unhappy with the support I got from Fantasie wires, I think I was told I'd have the same issue with Freya. I really prefer the support from the Panache wires.
In other news, I missed one hook this morning on my purple 32JJ - Panache » Tango Balconnet Bra (9071) (i have 3 now, but i've only entered the red one) - so I asked hubby to hook it for me. He said the 'thing' was missing, and thats why it wasnt hooked. I panicked - this bra isnt a month old! I took it off . . . its right there. He's just got terrible eyes.
We would really need pictures of the bra and the bra on you to answer those questions.
But you can always just bend the eye hook back into position. Eye hooks are softer metals and easily pliable....as I don't recommend wearing a bra with only one hook hooked out of two.
If you really think that it is happening because your tightening the straps then your cup is probably too large and your over tightening to close gapes (or a shape mismatch), or the band is too big and your over tightening to compensate for the lack of support.
I went and looked at a lot of freya deco pictures and it really is not common for the straps to be tightened half way as freya straps are not very long. I'm 5 feet even and when I was wearing my freya deco I had the straps shortened only a quarter of the way and they were quite tight and digging into my skin.
Still, all of this is just conjecture as there are no pictures or any thing to do much of any thing but guess.
