Didn't fit

It seems that cups are too wide and wires are too short. Cup too short for bigger boob on the side and it pops out- also top edge digs in. I'm finding the wide/short to be a theme w/ CK bras for me, unfortunately. Same with the ellace (see my review) and the enchanted plunge balconette.

  • Darn. CK is famous for shorter rooted breast designs. Sorry they aren't working for you.

  • This appears to sit in your IMF better than any of your other fit checks, though. Maybe try this in a 32E. Did you try Ellace in a 32E as well? I was thinking when I looked at your Skye fit check that Cleo isn't going to work for you and you actually need something with shorter wires. This one just looks too small more than anything.

  • Agree that this bra just looks too small for you. And you may find that the curvy Kate bra bands are really loose, stretchy, and physically longer than other bra brands. I agree with going for the 32E. But how does the band feel? Can you easily stretch it several inches away from your body? Does it move around when stretching your arms upwards and moving around? You may find a 30F may be ideal for you with curvy Kate. The bra looks like it's going to be a great fit when you jail down the size.

THe longer I wear it, the more comfortable it feels compared to the cleo bras, lol..

THe band does not feel too stretchy/loose. It actually feels great compared to cleo. I think 30 would be too uncomfortable - I have tried one or 2 CK bras in 30 and they felt too tight.

I agree that it is too small on my L breast, but I feel like it just fits/has a bit of extra fabric in the R -- worried 32E will be too big in the R boob.

Should I just keep this size if I end up finding it comfortable enough, or is the size way too out of whack?

I’d go for the 32E in both this and the Ellace. The Ellace will be more forgiving for asymmetry. I think once the size is better it’ll feel less constricting. You want to fit your larger boob. If there’s a little wrinkling on the smaller side it’ll be negligible.

  • IMO, the ellace bra is perfect as is. But sizing up in this Florence bra maybe better for you as you prefer a fuller coverage. I think it looks great on you now that it is placed well. Some women prefer their bras the be on the slightly larger side for best fit and comfort while other prefer them to be on the slightly smaller side for best fit and comfort (I prefer smaller). Try both and pick what's best for you. As long as there is no wires sitting on breast tissue, pain, or your obviously falling out or are really uncomfortable than your good to go and pick what works best for you!

I bring up going down to a 30 band in curvy Kate because it looks like you have some vertical stretching in the cups and straps going on which can either mean that you have the straps tightened too tight or the straps are supporting more of your bust than they should be because the band is too loose. I get these vertical stretches in my 30 band bras all the time because 30 bands are too big for me, I need a 28 band. Just remember if you do go down in band size you have to go up in cup size to keep the same cup volume.
It always makes me so happy to help someone on their bra journey! You asked for some further recommendations and I would recommend Fantasie to try out because they are REALLY comfortable and full coverage. I'm not quite sure how they work with short roots, but you never really know till you try!
I have heard a lot about Wacoal being very comfortable and they have a lot of fuller coverage options.
Mimi Holliday also makes some really gorgeous comfortable bras. Although I would warn you to stay away from their plunge varieties as they're SUPER low coverage. Their comfort and shoulder bras I think you will like!
