I’m so stupid it hurts.

So I was able to order the B.active I’ve been lusting after.....YAY....and my idiotic self ordered the WRONG size, I can’t exchange it, could be retuned but can no longer get smaller at the same cost.So it “fits” in the sense that it says in place and gaping (surprisingly not a lot since cups are 8” deep) isn’t visible, even though it’s a full size to big in both the band and cups, I meant to order a 30DD got a 32DD. Not sure if I return this one and just do without, pay more for right size (which based on this one is going to have fit issues) or keep it and hope my boobs don’t “shrink” as I become more active since so far they aren’t (usually get wider and flatter, aka less boob more muscle). Regardless I plan on measuring this thing, but not sure how easy the band will be what with cross straps.

  • For sports bras and bras with no opening, I just lay it down flat. Measure the band, double it, that makes the band measurement. Then i just stretch it holding the two sides together, double it and that's the stretched band measurement . A whole lot easier than trying to wrap the measure tape around the circumference of the band, then trying to stretch it and keep the measure tape right. Just too much.
Though you won't get much support from a band that's too big. If you fetel it still supports you, than keep it if it fits alright. Or if you think you can alter it. Cups could fit better if you alter the band as well.
I like the b.active as well. It's a nifty sports bra. Berlei as similar sports bras, some look just like regular bras.

  • Such a simple solution, overthinking strikes again! I dont stress well and also have been overdoing the caffeine which means my brain is fried.
Band is fine on tightest hook but as it wears obviously that will change, I feel like the cups are to wide but they look good, sides are filled ok and they are only around 5.5”. The straps are to far apart but that’s normal for me, and should be an easy fix on this bra, I don’t know that sizing down would remedy strap placement fully if at all. I’m waiting a few days to decide because I’m mid cycle so somewhat fuller on top ( my Le Mystere usually is barely to small in cups but couldn’t wear today because of serious quad boob)...maybe just make it my “bloated” bra? Have 2 berlei bras on my want list.
