Jun 03, 2013 -- Another reason why I do not like super low gores?
I have now for some time predominantly been wearing bras with a super low gore as they happened to be the only ones that fit me reasonably well and comfortably. Apart from the fact I hate how these things look on me I have been noticing something else rather annoying too lately: it seems I have a little 'fold' of 'excess' skin developing right above the low centre gore. When I'm wearing these bras it looks as if my breasts are slowly 'growing' together, although I'm pretty sure that at the moment it's still just skin and no breast tissue. I regularly have to adjust to smooth it all out even though the gore is tacking like nobody's business: it doesn't hurt, but I often have rather disconcerting looking marks on my chest when I take the bra off. And adjusting only helps very temporarily: the 'fold' reappears all too quickly.
I personally don't quite understand where this skin comes from as I naturally have a decent amount of space between my breasts and without a bra my skin is perfectly smooth and taut in that area. I also have virtually no upper body fat that can be squished, moved or moulded to account for this issue. Finally, these particular bras are not 'cleavage' bras like for example the Freya Deco -- there's no 'pushing up and together' involved whatsoever -- and although the cups are not a perfect fit, they're rather too big than too small.
Anyway, anybody recognises this phenomenon? Any thoughts on the matter?

I noticed the same thing recently. Made me think of Branarchist's thoughts on possible symmastia.
For me, it's toward the "top" of the main bulk of my breast tissue - like a little bridge that connects them? When the center gores are too high, that's where the redness and 'omg'-pain hits.

http://www.bratabase.com/browse/ewa-michalak/s-fresh/75H/pictures/ Image 2/11. That's how it looks, right?
Compared to my seriously tall boobs that gore is low.
I actually think that on me it's a logic here; I shouldn't wear a tacking gore. I shouldn't try to separate what doesn't want to be separated. I will have a bra adventure up about discussing gores quite soon.
But your boobs are separated, right? It might have to do with softening and also that persistence thing. Constantly wearing low gores might simply unseparate your boobs.
drownedsalad Yes. I have that both on top and underneath. I still don't know about the amount of glandular in it. It could be non existent. But I'm really not sure.
