SHould i keep any of them?????

I recently bought a bunch of bras off bratabase and need to decide if i should keep any of them or return them all and try again. I got different shapes and styles and brands thinking one of them might work....but maybe not.

So i think my breasts are very close together centre full bottom heavy and very short roots. But i am not really sure. If anyone can advise if this seems accurate please let me know as maybe if i can correctly work out my shape that might help in finding something that fits.

Generally i think i need a 28ff although i don´t mind trying a 30f to get more variety and i can always wear on a tighter hook or take in if it needs. That is why i got these all in 30f because they aren´t available in 28ff.

Please let me know if i should keep any OR if you can suggest anything else that might work better.
So first definetly doesn´t fit http://bra.pe/XYvP/ but this bra clearly illustrates what my fit issues are and how/why most bras don´t fit. ie this bra is too small but also has excess material at the top . I hate that on bratabase fit you have to choose either quad boob or excess fabric, most of the time i don´t know which to pick as it is both!

This also def doesn´t fit. It isn´t as much too tall as the one above at least, but is too wide between the cups and too much breast falling out of the cups http://bra.pe/XYvt/

Then this is too big!!!! Same size as the others but wheras they were more or less way too small this is way too big. http://bra.pe/XYvp/ This is the type of contoured style i usually get and sort of works (ie cleo koko) but this time is too big. Although the back was ok.

Maybe the next two fit....Or at least compared to the others...

http://bra.pe/XYwv/ I like that it isn´t contoured so would be something different for me. Although it doesn´t give much shape. when i first put it on and scoop my breasts into the wire it gets some quad boob but not much and it seems to settle. I put a range of photos on and you can see in some pics it looks like there is a little squished at the front but in othes not at all. Maybe this fits. It isn´t so high at the top where the straps meet so this might work. I would still prefer it lower but might be ok. I haven´t set the fit on here yet though, bucause i don´t know. ´would love advice....

And finally http://bra.pe/XYvn/ again this might fit. There is a tiny bit of quad boob but not like the first couple. Again it depends on the pics in some it looks like there is and others not. What do you think? It doesn´t seem so high where the straps meet the bra which is good and myabe surprising as it is a full cup. But it reminds me of a fantasie bra i had many years ago that has since been discontinued which sort of fit much the same.

I have put lots of photos of them all. Maybe too many!!!But i wanted it to be easy to see what my breast shape is and my fitting issues.

Any advise welcome.

Thanks in advance.

  • None of these fit. I commented on some individual ones, but why would you think ANY amount of 'overspilling' is acceptable? its not.

You may be happier with half cups, but you are definitely overtightening the straps and wearing too-small bras (for the most part). Also, different brands fit different ways. Just because one size fits in one bra doesnt mean it will be the right size in a different bra.

these are mostly too shallow for you as well as too small. Empty cup on top isnt much of an issue but I still think you might like half cups better if you dont like the cup meeting the strap above your breast and you seem pretty happy with lots of boob exposed on the top.

I'm nowheres near your size - i only have like 4 bras that fit me, but the good news is, i dont have to try on as many - because they just dont exist

  • I'm not great at giving advice, but my first thought was everything you tried was too small. Based on your pictures and my own experience, it seems you're tightening the straps a little too much to compensate for the upper portion of the cup not fitting. If you go with larger cup sizes, you'll get more room at the wire (most likely), but you may also find extra loose fabric at the top with larger cups. I've learned I'd rather have the space at the wire, then I just sew the top. Good luck in your search! We all know it's a challenge finding the best fit.
