Boob/Bra Research Help!
Hello!
I've been a lurker on bratabase for years, mostly just reading reviews. I am currently a graduate student doing research on the lingerie industry and I thought there was no other better group of people to talk to than regular women who actively discuss bras! Sometimes it's not appropriate to pop your head into a lingerie fitting room and ask a customer about their boobs, so I'm turning to bratabase for help.
I am looking to learn more about the industry and customer needs. It would help me and my project out so much to hear about other women's experiences with bras and bra shopping.
If you have a few minutes to answer some questions, I would greatly appreciate it! And if any questions makes you uncomfortable, feel free to skip it. You can also feel free to talk to me over PM if that is more preferable for you.
• Age and occupation?
• How often do you purchase lingerie and at about what price?
• What are some challenges you face when shopping for lingerie?
• How are you solving it now?
• Are there any lingerie products you wish you could purchase that are not available to you?
• What do you look for when deciding to purchase lingerie, specifically a bra?
• What product levels do you usually purchase clothing in general? (Budget, mid-level, accessible luxury, luxury) What brands?
• Do you ever purchase luxury products? Would you ever consider purchasing luxury lingerie? What price range would you consider purchasing luxury lingerie at?
• Is there anything else about you personal experience in the buying process of bras you would like to share?

So........just so I understand the whole picture.........you have been a BtB member for 6.5 years based on your profile, never entered a single bra to help strengthen the database in that whole time or participated to aide the site at all based on your zero rep, and you want us to divulge personal information to help your research project? Yeah, sorry, I decline....... Maybe some others are willing to help, but I think @JJ should clarify if it's okay to post an email address and in turn be asking for other members person email addresses (by default of reply) on the open forum?
I apologize if I offend anyone with my lack of forum participation. It was not my intention. I did enter a few bras years ago, but obviously cannot explain why they are no longer there. I would be happy to write a new post on the one style of bra I wear now.
Yes, if asking for this kind of help is not allowed, I will be the first one to delete the post. And I would under no circumstances encourage anyone to give their e-mail if they were not comfortable doing so, which is why I stated so.
I just want to listen and learn. If this is not a good place for that, then I again apologize for my ignorance. I am also very open and appreciative for any advice on other directions to seek answers for my research as well. Thanks!
