Upsizing woes

I'm back on here after several years because I have been experiencing a late-20s boob explosion and I need advice. 4-5 years ago I figured out that I was a 30GG and found that the Cleo Marcie was the perfect fit for me, and I've worn that for several years.

Well, I'm now in the 30HH-J range (for no clear reason...I haven't really even gained any weight. Bodies are so weird sometimes) which is the upper end of what Cleo makes the Marcie in, and also in the larger size I'm feeling like the support just isn't enough. In addition to all the usual grading challenges of too-wide straps, etc.

So... I'm looking for advice on where to go from here. I'm VERY FoB and projected, and quite narrow, with a lot of center fullness. (No idea if this matches what my profile says, but it's probably way out of date.) I am lucky enough to live in a city with an excellent specialty lingerie shop, and I've gone there, but they had nothing in their entire stock that fit my shape; the closest was the Freya Daisy in a 30J, which I liked enough to buy, but the fullness is too wide set for me and I have some wrinkling around the wire combined with some center spillage.

So: any advice on where to go from here? I'm hitting a frustrating wall and I'm terrified they'll keep getting bigger and the Marcie won't fit at all anymore.

  • Welcome back! :) As for British brands, I believe Cleo has the narrowest wires in your size range, and if you need narrower, then Polish may be the way to go. From Cleo, I think it would be worthwhile for you to try Hettie. At GG and above, they double up on the stretch lace on top, which makes it much more closed off. It is also narrow and is VERY projected. Other than that, it may be worthwhile to start looking into Polish brands, such as Ewa Michalak, Comexim, Avocado, etc. All these brands go up to at least a UK K cup, and they all have quite narrow and projected shapes. In particular, I would recommend the PL and BM shapes from Ewa Michalak. I hope this gives you a good starting point!
