First impressions of bras from the shopping

All the gores are so wide :S I'm going to elaborate on this, but so far that's the first thing I notice about all the bras.

About Cleo by Panache - when did they start/stop making the "Crafted for fit. Styled for fun."? Because I'm noticing that not all my Panache/Cleo bras have this text print on the underwires. The pink/black Hettie has this, but the violet mix Hettie dpes not. Both the Blakes have text, the Erins have this, but the Jasmines and the Piper do not.

Cleo Piper 28FF: Sooo cuuuuuute 😍 I feel ready to party in this bra! I can barely fasten it, but hey! I feel so pretty! The gore is a little wide, but the wire channels are fairly slim. I haven't worn it for a day yet so I've gotta do that before I judge more on comfort. A 4-part cup is new to me, and the top seam along the cup edge feels weird in terms of design and shape. I looked in the mirror and found out what shape I though tit was giving me: granny shape, or rather the look of a boob hat. It's something about the 3 seams that make up the bottom part of the cup that makes it characteristic. The top part of the cup has a lower edge than I'm used to, as the Hettie has a higher cup edge and a somewhat or slightly different seam that gives a rounder appearance than the Piper. (Speaking of, they just released the new black/blue colorway with 3 hooks: https://www.panache-lingerie.com/ca/shop/product/piper-balconnet-2?colour=832)

Cleo Blake 28FF: This is a weird turquoise color! So far there's extra space in the cups, but once again this just goes by my cycle. I have yet to wear it, but I'm expecting it to fit like the 28F Blake I already have. It's a very bright and in-your-face green-blue mix, more green than blue, like Hexadecimal 00BA8B but a little lighter. Sort of neon, but not as garish as I usually find neon to be.

Cleo Marcie 30FF: It's the Tangerine colorway! I looked everywhere for it and I found one! But- the wire channels are huge? Wearing it, there's not as much gapping between gore and skin as I would have thought. There's extra space in the cups which makes sense according to my cycle. Comfortable band, on the middle hook it's perfect, but like the 30E Hettie this will probably need a clip of hooks as it stretches out. Considering how I treat my bras this'll probably happen later rather than sooner.

Cleo Hettie 30E: Pretty comfy to wear! I'll probably have to wear it on the middle hook from the start, but as it stretches out over time it will probably be okay with a clip of hooks. Fits like a perfect Hettie should, with a lower gore than I'm used to (yaaas). The color is really what ensnared me to get this bra. The outside is a dark purple with the light purple/lavender color peeking through on the dots. I love that the hooks and strap adjusters have the lavender accent! It really gives an extra feel of detail to the bra.

So that's it so far! I also have another bra on the way, but I ordered a brief that they didn't have in stock after all so it's a little delayed.

  • Jasmine is Panache only so I would not expect it to have the Cleo “crafted for...” logo inside, but odd that some of Cleo’s you got don’t have it. The Piper is interesting with the 4 section cup. For me, the biggest problem with it was the wires in my armpits. They were tall. Maybe it’s better now with the new productions.

Will you be making full reviews for the individual bras as well as this summary? Thanks for sharing, since we’re similar size range.

  • While it's a great way to give a quick rundown on the bras and share the general overview, please remember to follow proper protocol and do official/real reviews for each of the bras. That way every time someone is researching a specific bra, they have that information available.
Also please please please measure each and every bra so that it strengthens the database and helps everyone researching bras here on bratabase too.
We want to set good examples for all newbies and lead by example so they don't get the wrong idea that it's okay to just post a general adventure instead of doing reviews.
Remember that @JJ spent/spends a lot of time and effort (& money) to set up the structure of the site to be user friendly and the info easily accessable, & we want him to know we appreciate that, right? :D
    Thank you!
