A Fun & Sad Day with The Girls

I have two nieces, one who is turning 17 and one who is 13.
I decided to take them out shopping today (and spent like a million dollars on 3 articles of "clothing" lol).
I had recently tried some of my bra's that I didn't wear or were a shape mismatch for me on the younger niece. After doing so I decided she need a 30DD/DDD/E. She currently wears a 34B. I literally feel her breast tissue under her arms near her back on her tiny frame from shoving herself into such ill-fitting bras.
My older niece on the other hand is like huge chested (comparable to her body size), so I couldn't size her at home. So, I took them to Bare Necessities. Which is the only bra store around here that is actually size inclusive. I got her measured and asked the lady what she measured her at, she said 32F. I practically yelled "I knew it!" Victorias Secret and her buying bras from Wal-mart and other miscellaneous places kept shove herself in 34DD/DDD 36D/DD. These bands went all the way up to her neck and carpeted her torso in fabric. She could really use like a 30FF/G, but she is young and I figure she'll end up going down in band on her own over the years.
Not only did they both complain about how fat they were but my youngest practically wouldn't even try on the bras, like she wants to complain about having "no boobs" but I'm putting her into these 30DDD/E cups that are a bit tight in the cup and trying to explain it to her but she would not drop her guard. It made me really sad because the last time I had her trying on bras she was alot more open.
But the main point of the trip was to get the older ones size so I can now shop for her online Instead of spending 105$ on a bra instore. Which honestly was really cheap considering she ended up getting a non-padded, non-molded cup bra (which she has never worn before) from Simon Perele. And she picked it out herself out of the like 10 bras the lady brought us. I got my younger niece the typical natori feathers in blue.
I wanted to get the older one more......but I think I want to get her Ewa bras because she wants her boobs to do that "push together plunge" thing and I think she would really dig Ewa.
I'm soooo eenvious of my older niece, EVERYTHING she put on looked great and seemed to fit really great. Nothing stuck far away from her narrow-ish roots, her breasts filled even the Freya Deco all the way up. She's got like these perfect mixture of projected and soft so that her breasts just fit like almost any shape you put her in!
I would start going on about how they stabbed me in the heart over and over about their body hatred, but I've gone on far too long as it is and thought you guys would enjoy reading about my first bra outing with my nieces!

  • You are the funnest Aunt ever! Body image issues are everywhere for women, it is sad to see how early we are trained to have them, and it feels like nothing we can do can convince people how beautiful they truly are.

  • Unfortunately this is a thing I experienced with my little sister as well. She has so many body issues, most of which to do with her boobs. She often says they're not normal and then I have to show her 007b.com to show her that indeed there's a bunch of different shapes out there and hers are normal just like all the others.

I think though she has finally accepted it, and now we're looking for a good bra for her (it's why I add 30D and DDs to the database).
