Bra reviewing

Does anyone else feel like they need to get into a certain mindset or headspace for giving a decent review on a bra? I was watching some emotional stuff whilst measuring bras, and that worked fine, but I found that in order to give them a thorough review I felt like I had to listen to some music or something idle like Game Grumps to change the mood.

  • Yes, I feel like writing a substantive review takes a lot of effort. If I feel tired or lazy, I struggle between thinking, "Any info is helpful!" versus "Marshall all your thoughts for a proper review because info you add later won't be seen."

  • I definitely feel like I have to get into the right mindset. I need to have a good feel for the bra and I have to have a good block of time to write, because my reviews tend to be lengthy. Have you read my 2500+ words opus on the Lily yet? Lol. Though that one is a bit of an exception because it’s not just a review, but a journey to where I am now and why that bra is so important in/to the journey. Right now I am struggling with the review of my BM Cabernet because I actually have not worn it yet for long periods. I initially wore to take pictures and measurements (some of my measurements are based on the bra on) but I’d hesitated cutting the tag off before I had the ok on fit from a few places, including where I bought it from. Then I’ve been working all week. I was going to go out yesterday or today, but I’m not feeling well so I’m probably just gonna try it out tomorrow at work and see what happens. I might try to get out today and put it on for a bit, as we might go see a movie later. But I’m definitely not feeling up to review it yet.
