Hello, me again!

I'm looking for some advice on what to try next & I thought I would add more info to what I already put in the previous post.

I have even shaped breasts, medium width (I think )and medium projection (I think). I'd say I have very soft tissue. Slightly pendulous, as in they don't support themselves.

I usually size up when the cup starts to 'collapse' or fold at the bottom or when I quad out the top (Freya Fancies Plunge Balcony, Curvy Kate Daily Dream Balcony & Panache Tango II Plunge had these issues). I didn't like the shape that the Freya Fancies and Tango II Plunge gave me, so I haven't gone back to those, I also found them not very supportive. CK Daily Dream was okay cut wise but I found I did little in terms of support.

I recently tried a Cleo Marcie in a 34FF which was perfect height/volume/shape in the cup but narrow and the gore was painful. I then re-measured using the ABTF calculator and got 34G or 36FF for comfort.

I recently bought a Curvy Kate Princess Plunge in 34G (and it's Flirtelle clone) as my other post detailed, and it was too tight in the band. I found this kind of odd because I still felt like the band was comfortable in my (relatively unworn) 34FF Freya's, Curvy Kate's and even Cleo's. with the Princess I also had a HUGE amount of space at the bottom of the cup that my boob wouldn't sit in, despite being in the IMF. I've never really had that issue before apart from when I tried a Cleo Hettie, so as others have said, it's a projection problem.

I also usually get some space at the cup by the strap but it doesn't bother me too much, unless it's a sign of bad fit!

I usually go for plunges because I'm very close set and balconies can hurt if I don't bend the gore out.

I've been recommended Elomi, Panache, Freya, Soraya and more.

Perhaps it's a good idea to try the Marcie in 34G or 36FF?

TIA! You guys are so kind and helpful! <3

  • I am sure that there is lots of advice out there for you! To help the bra community help you out, I would suggest that measurements of you and all bras plus pictures of you in the bras would be of tremendous help. Lots of work but invaluable in the bra journey towards a better fit and more confidence in selecting bras!

  • Hi! :)
I can give measurements but I'm not comfortable with posting pictures unfortunately.
After I posted this I decided to use the calculator on here rather than the ABTF calculator, and I think that the Bratabase calculator gave me more accurate recommendations. I actually had one of the bras that were recommended, I tried them on and I found that one fit me pretty much perfectly!

Panache Tango plunge is a perfect fit in terms of cup, band, straps and gore, but the wires are a bit too round and the shape is a bit pointy for my taste. I think this is a great place to expand from.

Thank you for encouraging me to measure myself again :)
