Bra suggestions needed.
My daughter is 12, about 5'4 118 lbs. She was wearing xs spandex/microfiber bralettes but is needing something with actual support now.
She measures out to a 30C, nearly a D but just doesn't have the fullness on top or bottom of breast to fill a D cup with no gap or wrinkle. Ribcage is just shy of 30 inches. Breast tissue is still at that pointy stage. She's grown from an A/just breast buds needing an extra layer is Cami or crop top style bra to C's in just a few months, and atleast 1 cup size in the past few weeks, so I'm anticipating rapid filling/continued growth.
She doesn't like moulded cups much yet. Doesn't want lace that is too bumpy or thick seams. Doesn't like wires that are too 'hard' or stiff....🙄 But wants to have some bras with wires so she can get used to them.

Tried on a 32D and 32C Freya sewn/seamed bra I had that is too small for me. It fit nicely in regards to wire placement, but the top of the cups are too empty, and the sides have slight wrinkling, probably due to the stage of development she is at.
I have a moulded underwire Natori smooth scroll 736095 that runs really small/shallow. Its marked 30DD (my size) but felt 2 cups too small for me so I saved it for her. That fit nicely.

I've ordered a Wacoal lace affair wireless/soft cup in 30C/D, and a Wacoal embrace lace (stretch lace/seamed) 32C which I can alter to a 30 band if she likes it.
I've tried on the embrace lace before and noticed it was rather soft lace, not super bumpy and had enough stretch to accommodate for size difference between breasts and a little give for growth. I have the lace affair seamed bra with wire and she like the feel of the fabric so I decided to buy it in wireless for her to try.

What else is there? Would Freya Daisy wireless/bralettes be good to try?

Once you get to a 30C/D the options start to narrow at regular stores. 🙄 We have a small bra shop and the woman measures 'right' including measuring the 'heaight of the breast and from outside of breast to sternum 😱

  • Natori Flora comes in both unlined and lined styles and has a smooth lace cup with no seams. I am about the same size and shape as your daughter and I fill out the unlined 30C perfectly. They are available from Nordstrom so perhaps you can go and try them out in person. They are super lightweight and comfortable, the only thing is that Natori bras give more of a natural shape and not as much lift as other brands, IMO.

  • Could try Gorsenia 65/30C...they have a lot of depth in the cup so could work if she's bigger than the average C. The cups are seamed but very comfortable and not obvious under clothing.
I recommend buying a bunch online (Amazon) or othereden.com and returning what doesn't fit.
