Weird question, but can you modify bras by cutting the wire shorter in the sides?
Every bra I tried today with high wings did the same thing: when I relax my arms by my side, it pushes the sides of the bra down - it is incredibly frustrating! I feel like, if I could only make them shorter, they could stay in place you know? But I don’t know if that compromises the bra or if it’s even useful to do.
Out of the 10 brands I ordered, Nessa and Ewa Michalak seemed the best, even though Ewa seemed to be a bit tall in the sides for me.
Most of them were way too small, so I will be ordering some of favorites (Elomi, Nessa, Freya) in bigger sizes
I am just in a bad place with this, so frustrating I just want to cry lately

Yes it is possible! I kept wired from previous bras that were the right width and height and I expetimented by replacing too long wires with my old ones. It works but you have to make a stitch to keep the wires in a fixed position. If you choose to cut wires, you juste have to make sure they are not so sharp or they might cut your bra wire channel. Some brands also have shorter wires, you may want to try Curvy Kate balcony bras and Fantasie bras.
Yes, here’s a good article about it. https://clothhabit.com/lingerie-friday-cutting-tipping-underwires/
