Hi, I'm new here and very excited about using bratabase. I have already added 3 bras and can't wait to add more. A little bit about me, I have very small boobs but I'm comfortable with what I have. I'm muscular which makes finding well fitting bras very difficult. I measure 33" underbust with a 7" perimeter and I have quite a bit of upper pectoral and shoulder muscle. I usually wear 34A, but I have some 34B and 36A bras that fit o.k. The width of the cups on a 34 are to me, perfect, but due to my wide back the band feels too tight. A 36" band feels much better but the wires are usually too wide and wrap under my arms were there is no breast tissue. I hate using a bra extender because it makes the straps too wide and the tend to fall off the shoulders. Also bras that have light padding or light push up seem to fit the best and provide the best shaping.

  • Hi! I've got some issues with having a more muscular torso, too. :) Even though my underbust is 30", I generally prefer 32" bands because bands cutting into muscle hurts.
Your bra wires may fit weird because they're too small or too large. You mentioned your underbust measurement. What is your overbust measurement? Based on just the perimeter, you might be more comfortable in a 34C, which could make a 34B feel too tight.

  • I am 37 inches overbust, but don't be fooled, it is mostly because my back muscles get wider the higher up on the torso I measure (I have V back form years of gymnastics and weight lifting). The wires of a 34A fit great but as you said, the band cuts in because of the muscle, moving up to a 36A and the wires are too long.
