Changes in bras larger vs smaller cup sizes.
Some Bravissimo bras I bought recently in 32HH came with 2 hook closure and thinner straps. I feared the worst when I saw it and as expected the bras were much less supportive to what I was used to.
I know that bras that come in a large cup range often have some changes happen around GG/H but apparently on some Bravissimo bras they are between HH/J. I have always been a large cup girl that only recently went down a few cup sizes, so I'm used to the very supportive thick bands with 3 hooks and thick shoulder straps. I loved the firm support of Bravissimo bras in large sizes. My current size 32HH/J is still quite large and I don't want to be reminded of my large boobs all day because they aren't held well in a bra.
Is this an unpopular opinion? I sometimes read reviews on Bravissimo that customers want 2 hook closure and thin shoulder straps on large cup bras. What do you think?
The info is on Bravissimo site and I should have read more carefully before ordering. But I did not think that I have to look out for that info since I did not expect 2 hooks on a bra in my size... in the past all their bras changed at GG cup not HH. I wouldn't mind 2 hook closure if the bras offered the same support than my old bras.

i know what u mean. but i have the opposite problem. i see product photos of bras and when i get them in the mail and see them in real life, they have thinner straps then i think they will have. i wear a 32D and wish every bra i had would have 1" or wider shoulder straps. for some reason bra designers think that ppl with 32D's want teeny tiny shoulder straps and it sucks.
almost all of my bras are 2 hooks. i'm so sick of 2 hooked bras. it's rare for me to find one that has 3 or more. i have seen some with just 1, like gossard.
one of my favorite bra's is the Bravissimo satine. the 2 hooks are wider than most brands so it actually feels like the width of 3 to me. their shoulder straps are generally wider too then most other brands i've tried.
*for the record i wear a 30E in the satine :)
I think the Bravissimo bras are in general very nice. They are better made than a H&M or so. My best friend just bought new bras from H&M. Those straps and bands are sooo thin and flimsy looking. But she is okay with them and claims they work well for her.
So within Bravissimo brand I just wish they would make bras with 3 hooks in all sizes. And maybe do some with 2 hooks for all sizes for those that prefer that.
It's annoying when you have to read through the description of every bra which sizes have how many hooks.
I often read on reviews on Bravissimo that customers hated how the bra looked in large sizes, the wide straps, the thick bands and expected the bras to look different. I also think that is why they are now having 2 hooks up to HH cup.
I will avoid those styles though as it does not work for me.
