When did 2 hook closures on larger sizes become a trend?

With larger sizes I mean HH - cups and up! A few weeks ago I made an (rant) adventure about the 32HH bras I tried from Bravissimo that had a 2 hook closure. The bras felt unsupportive to me. It really makes a difference in my size range. Also note that I expect from my bra to get me through they day and don't let me feel that my boobs are a problem. (Means I don't want to feel too much weight on straps, band needs to do it's job, I don't want to adjust the bra all the time etc.)

One of my best fits in Bravissimo currently is the 30JJ - Bravissimo » Lacey Bra (LN486)
I had to size to 30JJ to get the bra with the supportive construction, since it is rather weak up to 32J. (2 hooks, thin straps, not lined)
Then I saw the new bras for spring on Bravissimo. Another Lacey. Yay I thought... then I read the description:

"2 hook fastening: All sizes"

Why??? Why Bravissimo? Why 2 hooks up to K-cup? Oh please no. I don't want it. I hope they don't do it on all bras now. Give me 3 or 4 hooks above J cup please. Make 2-3 occasion bras for those that want their flimsy narrow bands but not in every bra pls!
Who askes for this? Would you like this on your bra?

I will have to buy the older versions that still have 3 hook closure in a 30JJ. Ugh.

  • I’m on the lower end of the cups table but I do love personally 3hooks fastening. While I do not need so much support (yet) I do prefer the 3 hooks as it’s more comfy and really wish there are more bras offering it

  • I hope they just made a mistake in the description. But it's annoying to customers that order the bra and it's not what they expect. Returns are a hassle and expensive.
