Meg Woes
After successfully hunting down 3 hook closures and attaching some to my 30J - Cleo » Meg Balconnet (6751) , I seem to have run into a bit of a problem. I ended up trimming off a little more than I anticipated when making the back thick enough for the wider closure, and now when I wear the bra, it's too small in the cups.
I've included a link to an album with me in the bra, both with and without an extender. With 1 extra hook of the extender, I don't seem to have the top of the bra as closed off, but it's also quite flappy. Yes I have pulled up the bra as far as it will go. The cups are too wide and shallow for me (story of my life)
So, I have 3 possible theories as to why this has occurred.
1. I took too much bra band off the back and I'm now distorting the cups when I wear it
2. The cups were always a bit small, but the loose band was disguising this issue
3. My breasts have grown (please let it not be this one)
What do you ladies think? Which of the 3 explanations is most likely? Also, how awesome are Cleo bras with 3 hooks? Aside from the oozing issues, I'm totally going to love wearing this bra when I heal up. It's much more supportive and comfy now.

I'm not an expert. but It looks to me like the wires are maybe distorted..soo yes maybe you took too much off. :(
Good news- there seems to be a few megs floating around the place on good sales.lol.. if you need to pick up another- have you seen the coral one with polkadots too? How is the gor for you on them? do you have issues with too wide a gore etc? as I am wondering if before you chop one(I know too late for this one) if you could take in the gore to open up the top of the cup a bit more? May help there with the bit of quadding.. but yay if you have found a bra that might work ok for you!
P.S. I so wish cleos came with 3 hooks, at least above say in G + cups.
Oh well. We live and learn. It's a good thing I ended up with a 3-pack of extenders. I'll just have to wear the bra with an extender until it stretches out a bit. It's still pretty good considering all the issues I have with bra fit.
Gores in everything are too wide for me, I essentially have no room between my breasts, they form a 'v' shape with a little bridge of breast tissue in the middle. The only way that a gore will tack is if I get cups deep enough for my breasts to extend to their full projection. So I could try taking it in first, though then I wouldn't have room to sew on 3 hooks without coming up with another solution. That's a problem for another day. I haven't tried the coral spot one, but I hear that it runs pretty similar to the bird print Meg, so it would be another option in a different colour.
