bra-xhaustion??

In the past 9 months I've tried literally hundreds of bras. I've bought and returned so many things over the mail that my post man referred to me as "infamous". I've found ONE bra that fits perfect and is comfy: Ewa Michalak BMs. I vacillate between the 80E (which is probably a tiny bit big, the straps are too wide for sleeveless tops and its pretty full coverage) and 80DD (sometimes I get slight quadding at the middle horizontal seam, but the coverage and strap placement is much better and it's still comfy). I'm basically exhausted from looking for something similar for my shape, so I may just go back to "close enough". Am I the only one?!?!

Side note: I'm kicking myself right now. Back in like... January?? I ordered 2 80DD BMs on sale. I decided they didnt fit and paid to ship them back to Poland. The pandemic happened. They sat in customs for 2 months before showing back up on my doorstep. I decided to be a dunce and mail them to Poland AGAIN for a return. Since doing that, I've decided I want that size in my drawer. The tracking shows they went from LA International distribution center to Cincinnati (???) so I'm kinda hoping they get returned to sender again, since they're already made and paid for. With my luck they'll actually end up in Poland this time lol.

  • Let's hope the bras get back to you.
I hear you about bra-exhaustion. I tried almost 300 bras. About 100 just in the last 2 years when I started loosing weight and my size changed which meant I had to start at square one to figure out what works.
I also regret keeping some bras in 32HH/J that are now too small when I was at my lowest weight and return others that were too big then but would fit me now at 32J/JJ. I think the most important is comfort, fit and support - plus points if the bra also looks decent. But with each bra even those I call "great fit" there is a tiny issue. I think it's almost impossible to find perfect fit if a bra is not custom made to measurements.

  • Yeah I feel that way too! No matter what I try nothing fits me so I'm altering this and that trying to get something decent. Sending bras back is expensive and I just want something that fits just as is...
