My 28H - Freya Active » Soft Cup Sports Bra (4001) arrived! Big thanks to the lovely psyc2321 who sent it to me.
The fit of this bra is rather... unusual. Combined with the killer pointy shape, I have bits of boob escaping every which way. I'll have to put up some photos, putting this on gave me the giggles. I've decided I don't care about pointy though. On the plus side, it has no wires, the band is firm, and the straps are actually positioned in such a way that they stay on my shoulders! Imitation Ahh bra, I'm sorry, but I have a new wireless bra lover. It doesn't really encapsulate me, nor could I use it for sports, but I think it should be fine for holding me up while I try and heal up. I seem to be a lot less torn up under the torso than I was, which is good.
On the down side, I think that my breasts have grown. Again. I know some ladies say that their breasts swell a bit during their period/PMS and then go down again. Mine seem to have mastered the swelling bit, but not so much the going back down. Thankfully, it's not like it's a full cup size every time. Comparing photos of me in some of my bras to what I look like in them now does suggest I have experienced some boob growth. I'm finding this hard to deal with. I just got to a point where I had a few bras which fit me sort of okayish, and now it seems like I'll be back at square one again. Plus now each time I go up a cup size, I effectively go up a band size, meaning that the bras are scaled (well.... if they scale them) for larger bodies than my own.

Awesome, I was beginning to think some postal employee had claimed it for a hat :-/ I pretty much expected that "better than the argh bra" was a) the best you could say for a too small pointy sports bra, and b) all you really need from it. I hear you on the swelling but not shrinking - mine have only just stopped doing that, and I can't say for sure that it isn't just because the periods have stopped too, and all I'm really sized out of is sports bras (except the Freya, but yikes it's pointy) and strapless (except Bravissimo Contour Strapless (AU31), also kinda scary-pointy).
