Ploomage - the Robin
Has anyone tried the new HerRoom brand ‘Ploomage’ yet? They only manufacture one model so far, the Robin, and it’s one of those super-adjustable bras that lets you change the band size and strap heights to accommodate several different sizes. I received a bunch of emails about it awhile back, talking about their patent process and how much of a game-changer it would be.
I haven’t been able to find any detailed information about the sizing of the cups beyond that it’s a plunge and that you should size up if you want it to be full coverage, I’m super curious about it. The idea is definitely interesting, but I tend to be skeptical because of how things panned out for brands like House of Anesi which made similar statements about disrupting the bra paradigm. I’m curious whether anyone here has direct experience with Ploomage; I bought one to check it out and I had to kind of roll the dice on the size.

Looks interesting. I had not heard of this bra before your post. It does look a little bit bulky in the pictures (?) but if the material is soft it might not be too weird.

braluv I have the same concern, it does look very thick, hopefully it doesn’t feel like armor. I’m keen to measure it! Very curious how it runs since don’t give much guidance on the cup sizing at all. The reviews on their website are pretty mixed, it looks like they’re still in their first manufacturing run because they responded to some of the recent reviews by saying they would be tightening the hooks for the next run. I will definitely update when it arrives!
