I bought a @Shock Absorber Ultimate Run bra in what I thought was my size. It came in and was WAY too tight. When I went back and looked at the site, there is a chart in the bra photos that basically says which bras are true to size and which run small. Ultimate Run is one of the smaller ones, so back it went for a trade in.

I love this bra, but it does not run true to size at all! I had the same experience as you did when I first tried it. The band is very short and doesn’t stretch. It is now one of my favorite sports bras though! I hope you like it when you get the other size!
Most SA run extremely small in my experience. I had to go up two bands at least.
