Thought of the day: Designing a better racerback sports bra

I've actually thought about this before, but today I decided to share it with everyone here. I generally avoid racerback sports bras because I find them troublesome to pull over my head. Shock Absorber did something interesting because they added another fastening to the back, but a lot of people have a hard time fastening the top closure. My question is, why haven't they been created with front or side closures? That makes more sense to me as that's the easiest place for our arms to reach. Enell has a front closure, but as far as I'm aware it's not adjustable. We could even have two sets of closures, one to adjust the tightness (the back closure), and one to fasten the bra (front or side). Maybe there's something I'm missing, but this seems like such a good idea.

Edit: I know that they do exist with front closures, but most of them seem to come in a limited size range and are for lower impact activity.

  • You're voicing exactly what I have been thinking myself: two closures -- one for adjusting the size and an 'easy access' one in the front for easy dressing! It can't be THAT hard to design something like that, can it?
