I am a brand new member and I have had 425cc silicone unders for 13 years. I have a dropped IFM line thanks to my surgeon. I have never really found wired bras that fit that don't hurt. T he wires usually land on my skinny ribs and it hurts. I am 5'1" and 90lbs. I was put in an Anita twin 30 F wired bra, and a 32 G wireless by a boutique fitter after surgery but they had no lining so she sold me some headlight covers. Since then I have been fitted to a 32DD or 32DDD. I would love to have a lifting and supportive bra that isn't painful. I am a nurse that works 12 hour shifts and need support. Any suggestions or ideas would be great.

  • I'm guessing your rib cage is actually smaller than that if you're petite. I'd maybe try visiting the "A bra that fits" subreddit on Reddit, and check out their sizing calculator. It's not always 100% accurate, but it can give you a good starting point for sizing. They have a ton of resources posted too that will help you get started in figuring out boob shape, etc. Once you start getting bras, enter them in this site, then you can start to figure out what fits and how you can use bratabase measurements to help you find more bras that fit how you want. The calculator on this site gets more accurate the more measurements and bras you enter.

  • Yes, agree with Wilderness1 . I'm the same height as you and at minimum weigh like 40 pounds more and some 30s feel loose on me, let alone 32s. I can't say I have much of an idea what's going on with regards to your implants--I'll tag Happy2BraShop who's a regular on here who also has implants--but I'm guessing that any problem your implants might be causing re: underwires is being exacerbated by you wearing bras with too loose bands and too small cups. Once you get your size down better (/just give us some measurements to work with), we'll probably have better suggestions, but for now, I'm gonna suggest Molke if you find that underwires continue to be a problem for you/just want a really nice unwired bra in general. Their band sizing goes down to 26, which is the size I imagine you're around.
