Multiway bra strap problem with EM?
Has anyone else noticed that EM seems to have serious difficulties in sending the correct multiway straps for each size (at least Onyx)?
Already some time ago I ordered a 70G CH Onyx, which came with straps narrow enough. In March, I ordered a 65H CH Onyx, and now a 65HH PL Onyks, which both came with straps with too wide hooks. The CH Onyx straps were completely useless, they glide right off and I couldn’t use them unless I sew them put, which kinda makes the whole multiway idea go poof. The straps that came with the PL Onyks are not that bad, but I really don’t feel secure in them, either.
I tried (emphasis on _tried_) ordering a whole extra set of straps with narrow hooks for the CH. I placed the order for a smaller cup size (65G I think), but wanted to make sure I’ll get the narrow straps so I asked this separately by e-mail. Not surprisingly, the message didn’t really get through to Dominik.
First he claimed all straps are of the same width, even though they specifically state on their site exactly the contrary. I then sent him a picture of the two straps, explaining the issue. I told him that I need straps with the NARROW hook, the straps on the right in the picture.
He comes with incomprehensible questions such as “You want them to be there as normal straps right ?”, “in Your order there are straps as a separated product. Do You want me to change original straps in CH Onyks ?” and “I asked about if You want those straps from Your e-mail You have order one pair of straps as a product.” I reply again and again that I need narrow straps, as on the right in the picture, for a CH Onyx I already own [because they sent the wrong straps in the first place].
Guess what I got? That’s right, the straps with the WIDE hooks, as on the LEFT in the picture. Well, luckily I can use those with the PL Onyks which came with even wider straps that are too wide (ta-daa!), but I still don’t have a functional set of straps for the CH Onyx. Urrrgghghhhgh.
If anyone happens to have extra straps for the Onyx, such as in the picture, on the RIGHT, with the NARROW hooks (am I clear enough?), I would be really interested in buying them. I’ve given up hope with ever receiving the correct ones from EM.
(Why oh why can’t any other lingerie firm sell 65H halfcups for a reasonable price?)

Maybe left & right are different in Poland ;)
You may be better off just trying to buy some multi-way straps. I know that in Australia, I can get them from Bras & Things or the Bendon shop. You can even bring the bra with you to check that the hooks will be the right size for the clips.
My other solution would be to sew on different loops. You could make some out of ribbon to be the right width for the other straps, and that should be pretty straight-forward (I don't know if you can sew or not)
Dammit, you're right! I'm wearing my CH Onyks 65H at the moment, with the regular straps, and I quickly went to check if I have anything for you (sorry, I don't), and while I was checking I noticed that the hook on the comfort straps is wider! That's why the one strap kept on coming undone when I tried to wear them!
