Edit: Please see commentary below.

I have an idea for Braologie designers, if they happen to read our Bratabase adventures:

Please create an UNLINED bra! I LOVE the side support of the Braologie bra - no other bra I've ever tried supports this way. However, I had to change my bra today at 3:00pm because the cups were making my shirt wet. It looked like I was wearing a damp bathing suit...quite embarrassing! I could "wring out" the cups when I took off the bra - I do not wear the push pads that came with the bra.

It is 110 degrees here, so moisture-wicking and lightweight bras are necessary if I don't want to feel like I'm suffocating myself. I'd love to have a Braologie bra that can "breathe", so to speak.

I changed into a Tango II. Whew! My boobs don't look nearly as good but they're getting circulated air. ;)

  • They are a pretty new company so I'm sure they already have a lot of room for improvement. However, they are adapting Asian lingerie technology and tastes into their bras so I guess that's whats up with the bumpy lace. In the Asian market, unlined bras are pretty unpopular because they're all about lots of cleavage.

I wonder how unlined bras work with their "as much cleavage as possible" methodology. Padded cups hide a lot of fit issues. Plus, they deem a "floating gore" a proper fit so I'm a bit unsure.

  • braologie is working very hard to make their style and fit ideas work for the Western market as well, so I'd say it's only a matter of time before the idea of an unlined bra will spark interest on their part. Over the past months they have developing the Posture-Contour Casual -- a seamed, but perfectly smooth (no 'bumpy lace!) and slightly lower cut basic version of the Lacie that at least on me and ShaniSunAZ gives perfect lift, but no extreme 'butt crack' cleavage -- and I'm sure they are eager to innovate further. But, as I said, it takes time, and so far they are unfortunately not yet THAT well established in the Western world that this kind of 'gamble' might pay off ...

Having said that, if they do decide take on the challenge of developing an unlined bra, I'm sure they'd find plenty of willing 'guinea pigs' here ;)
