I wish people online were more thoughtful in how they talk about bodies, especially in spaces like this.

I understand the need to vent, but frequently on boob reddit I see people post about how much they hate their E cup size breasts and how big and disgusting they are. I get where they're coming from, but it's frustrating to read as someone who has worn a G or higher since I was a teen, and having far fewer options than someone at that size.

I'm thinking about this because last week I decided that although no one makes a strapless bra in my size, the cups wouldn't work out for me anyway so maybe I can buy something that fits in the cups and alter it. I searched by measurement and filtered by type and actually found one that had basically the exact measurements that I'm looking for! Unfortunately it's discontinued.

However, there were about 3 reviews and one was for the size I was looking at. The review is about 10 years old and that user hasn't logged in in a long time so I'm not trying to drag up some drama or something. But that review basically said that the user had tried it in a few sizes and it wasn't a match in shape. However, they carelessly said something along the lines of how they couldn't imagine how anyone could fit in that bra, and that the shape was really weird and unnatural. They then described the kind of breasts they thought would fit in the bra... and it was basically exactly how mine are shaped.

Obviously this person didn't directly say "if this bra fits you you're a freak" or anything like that, and it was definitely more out of confusion than malice. But it was very off-putting to read something like that when I'm already searching by measurements because my shape and size are not something that many companies cater to!

It has me thinking and I feel like, not necessarily here but in some communities, there's an overall feel that people think their body experience is the correct one. It's not uncommon on other websites for me to see art or animation with breasts, and people criticize it for the movement being excessive and unrealistic, or the size or shape to be unnatural. In the past I've chimed in to say that while it may be unusual it's not unrealistic or unnatural, and in fact it is somewhat accurate to my own body and how it moves. And people have straight up told me that I'm wrong and boobs don't move or look like that. They usually reveal themselves to be in the US F-I cup range, and for whatever reason they basically imply that they have the biggest boobs possible and anything larger is an anomaly and wrong.

I'm not kidding when I say I've had someone tell me I clearly haven't seen big boobs before and that they know better than me because they're an I cup when I had already stated that I'm a JJ cup (5 cup sizes larger, but even if they didn't know the sizing difference J comes after I so JJ would still be bigger). And I'm not even trying to say that my experience trumps theirs because mine are bigger, just that with that much of a difference they can't really say how ones closer to mine would move. Its absurd.
