Someone help please?! Copy pasted from ABTF because I never got a clear answer
Need help with figuring out which sizes and styles to try. Thanks in advance!
I have Elomi Matilda in 32K and panache imogen in 34JJ. The cups on imogen don’t feel supportive enough meanwhile the cups on Matilda irritate under my arms. I’m also suspecting I may need a larger cup size. If I could get a bra with the cup height of imogen but the sturdiness of Matilda it’d probably be a near perfect fit. My measurements are (also btw I am pregnant and prefer the tighter band because my boobs are on the larger side and growing still apparently, I’m okay with getting an extended as needed):
Loose: 34
Snug: 32
Tight: 30
Standing: 45in
Leaning: 48.5in
Lying: 44in
Can’t really rely on the size calculator bc it says anywhere from 34H/HH-32K/KK depending on how I tweak the band and standing/lying measurements.
Filed under Bra sizing and fit
there's only one person who entered in the data for Panache Imogen in size 34JJ, she reported the cup height as 9.8 inches.
Now, if you use the search feature (this is kind of hard to explain how to use this feature, but I'm going to post the data here) - You can search by CUP HEIGHT shortest cup to tallest cup, in ANY SIZE. Here is is for size 34JJ UK.
So, I would just look at: what cups are shorter than 9.8 inches (or around there) and that you think would work for you. And are available in your area (I know, there's lots of factors).

Interesting! Because the ones that are the shortest cups in size 34JJ UK are the POLISH brands, First Kris Line, and then Ewa Michalak.
but it proceeds from there.
As long as there isn't measurement error from the lady who entered in the Imogen 34JJ, you should be fine around 9.8 inches cup height as your ideal.
Of course, there's all the other factor, too that go into bra fit.
