Corn Chips, Socks, Bras, and Mothers.
So, yesterday my family got back from camp, and I had all my worn (but still wearable again) clothing in one bag, including my bras. As soon as we get home, my mom started doing laundry, and assumed that bag was my dirty clothing. NOW DON'T GET FREAKED OUT SHE DIDN'T WASH MY BRAS IN THE WASHER OR DRYER OR ANYTHING. But she did empty the bag out by the washer along with everyone else's dirty clothes, and leave it there overnight. This is how the conversation went:
*Mom* Is this bag your dirty clothes?
*Me lying on the couch half-asleep* No mom..
*Mom* Okay I'll just wash them.
*Me* No mom.. I'll do my own laundry..
*Mom* Is it okay if I wash it with your dad's stuff? (It would have been nice if she had told me that this included his dirty socks and underwear at this point...)
*Me* NO MOM I'LL WASH IT THANKS
*Mom* Okay I'll just leave it by the washer for you
*Me.... Falls asleep*
SO imagine my surprise when I wake up in the morning and go to find a bra to wear, only to find that they had all been dumped out with everyone else's clothes. I salvaged everything, as they were on the top, except for my nude Juna bra. IT WAS LAYING ON TOP OF A PILE OF STINKY SOCKS AND UNDERWEAR, PEOPLE! It smelled like someone had stuck the bra into their 20 year old sweaty running shoes that they wear EVERY DAY and ran with the bra in their shoes. Forever. I immediately proceeded to handwash it, and handwash it, and handwash it, and handwash it... and I got most of the smell out. But now it smells like corn chips. The feet kind. Like when you wear a brand new pair of sneakers for a few days, and they start to smell like stinky feet, but not quite... so they smell like corn chips instead. MY POOR JUNA!
Now, people. We can learn some very important life lessons from this story.
1) DO YOUR OWN LAUNDRY
2) BE SUSPICIOUS IF I EVER LIST A NUDE JUNA
3) DON'T EVER EAT CORN CHIPS AGAIN.
Just thought that was something you all would need to know. (:

This totally made me laugh. I think you should start your own bra blog.
You may want to try a very dilute water and vinegar soak for your poor Juna.
I'm gonna keep a close eye on your listings from now on ;)
